Master's Rowing Camp 2010

Come Experience Rowing the San Diego Way!
From January 16-18th UC San Diego will be hosting its annual masters rowing camp in beautiful San Diego on Mission Bay. The camp is open to men and women of all experience levels of sweep rowing, sculling and coxing. You will be instructed in basic and advanced technique through a means we call ‘microcoaching’ as well as have lessons in physiology, stretching and recovery, sport psychology, weight lifting (for the masters athlete), race strategy, rigging, and more!

As a take-away you will be given a Camp Sack Bag, T-shirt and a personalized rowing DVD including pictures from your time in San Diego.

Total Camp Cost: $385, Includes breakfast, lunch, camp souvenir and DVD.
Requirements: All athletes must sign a waiver and provide proof of swimming ability.

OPTIONAL INTRO TO SCULLING CLINIC
New: SCULLING LESSONS ONLY: $200/ 6 lessons January 16-18.
These lessons are designed to teach beginning sculling (2 lessons/day) without needing to attend the full camp. The introduction to sculling option offers the novice rower a way to enjoy the learning process in a fast-paced individualized environment. By the end of the weekend you will be able to maneuver your own sculling boat, row with others and be ready to go out into Mission Bay on your own!

Total Clinic Cost: $200, Includes T-shirt and snacks.
Hours: 9:00am-1:30pm Saturday and 8:00am-12:30pm Sunday and Monday
Requirements: All athletes must sign a waiver and provide proof of swimming ability.
