Master's Rowing Camp 2012

2012 Master's Rowing Camp
Hosted by UCSD Women's Rowing program.
January 14-16, 2012 - Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Weekend.
Mission Bay, UCSD's Coggeshal Boathouse

Two different sections to choose from:
Continuing skills camp
for current rower's.

Learn to row
camp for beginners.
Open to men and women age 24 and up.

Cost: $425 for either section

Description:
UC San Diego will be hosting its annual masters rowing camp in beautiful San Diego on Mission Bay. The camp is open to men and women of all experience levels of sweep rowing, sculling, and coxing, age 24 and up. You will be instructed in basic and advanced technique through a means we call 'microcoaching' as well as learning about physiology, stretching and recovery, sport psychology, weight lifting (for the master's athlete), race strategy, rigging, and more!

As a take-away you will be given a Camp Sack Bag, T-shirt, and a personalized rowing DVD including pictures from your time in San Diego.

Total Camp Cost: $425 - includes breakfast, lunch, camp souvenir, and DVD.
Requirements: All athletes must sign a waiver and provide proof of swimming ability. Registration Deadline: Saturday, January 7th, 2012.
